Children's church
Background:Praise Fellowship's mummies decided to get together and start a small children's ministry because the number of children running in the outer courts during service finally got too large.
Besides the very many children, the more important, and distracting, thing is that they are noisy. To the extent that the congregation kept looking back to see what is happening.
So finally, on Saturday (5th Nov), our 1st session on children's church was held.
Grace led the songs and Esther did the story-telling and the craft session.
Main Story:
It was Gerald's first time in a structured environment with so many kids. He has not been to any playgroup or enrichment class before. Mummy is trying to sign him up but there's a waiting list at Growing up Gifted.
He cried!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (so malu...)
Once when everybody started clapping. He just looked up in shock and burst into tears.
Second time was when free-play time was over and people were trying to pack up the toys.
He fidgeted during story-time.
He tried to grab two crayons and refused to colour at craft time.
He couldn't really sit still at snack time.
Yet... I'm so proud that he has attended his own little service for the first time!

Of course he had loads of help from mummy in colouring the star.
